Assistant Manager, Specialised Agribusiness

About the role

Join ANZ’s Agribusiness division as an Assistant Manager, working alongside a supportive Relationship Manager to serve a portfolio of agribusiness customers. This permanent, full‑time position offers the chance to develop specialist industry expertise and contribute to growth through acquisition and cross‑selling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of each customer’s business and financial needs.
• Provide customer‑centric solutions, recommending suitable products and services.
• Maintain a well‑managed, compliant portfolio in line with ANZ policies and procedures.
• Control workflows across compliance and customer fulfilment processes.
• Collaborate with product partners and other stakeholders to meet customer requirements.

Required profile

• Prior experience in commercial banking frontline roles and commercial lending.
• Ability to manage strong customer relationships and resolve service queries.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail when reviewing agreements and contracts.
• Capability to assess a customer’s creditworthiness, considering qualitative and quantitative factors.
