About the role
The Training Coordination Team Leader will manage, support and lead a team of Training Coordinators and Program Support Officers across the NSW/ACT region. Reporting to the Operations Team Leader, you will ensure high‑quality relationship management for the AGPT program and seamless delivery of training activities in partnership with senior leadership, local teams and the Medical Education team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of the AGPT program across administrative functions including registrar support, practice and supervisor support, accreditation and event coordination.
- Mentor, train and support Training Coordinators and Program Support Officers to enhance service quality for registrars, supervisors and practices.
- Maintain a cohesive, responsive service for all regional stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the Medical Education team to ensure coordinated program delivery.
- Liaise with external organisations on behalf of RACGP.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience in people leadership or senior roles within a training or service‑delivery environment.
- Proven ability to lead a team and manage senior administrative functions.
- Strong capability to drive process improvements and organisational change.
- Track record of coordinating competing priorities and resolving complex issues.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship‑building skills.
Required skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Training Management Systems (TMS).
- Familiarity with online learning management systems.
