Talent Acquisition Partner – Local Government

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Talent Acquisition Partner to join the City of Ryde’s HR team. In this role you will manage end‑to‑end recruitment for both permanent and contingent positions, supporting the council’s rapid growth and diverse workforce needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from brief to offer.
• Advise hiring managers on sourcing strategies and market insights.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation and with external partners.
• Ensure recruitment processes are smooth, fair, compliant and aligned with legislation.
• Support agency and temporary hiring, onboarding and related administration.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
• Strong stakeholder management and proactive mindset.
• High attention to detail with a solutions‑focused approach.
• Experience hiring a mix of blue‑collar and professional roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of relevant employment legislation, awards and industrial instruments.
