Supervisor - Transmission Lines and Substations

About the role

The Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone project is building high‑capacity transmission lines, energy hubs and substations to deliver solar and wind power. We are looking for experienced Supervisors to lead construction activities across multiple disciplines and ensure the infrastructure meets all technical and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all construction works meet project specifications, relevant standards and Code of Practice.
• Take responsibility for the quality of work performed under supervision.
• Verify that Hold and Witness Points are completed before work proceeds.
• Confirm that all workers have received the project‑specific induction.
• Oversee the installation of 500kV overhead lines, 330kV generator connections, towers, cable terminations and commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Supervisory experience in Electrical, Civil, Structural, Cables Termination, Towers, Stringing and Commissioning disciplines.
• Ability to enforce compliance with specifications and safety standards.

Required skills

• Electrical systems for high‑voltage transmission.
• Civil and structural construction techniques.
• Cable termination procedures.
• Tower erection and stringing methods.
• Commissioning of transmission line assets.
