About the role

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to lead our global social media strategy for a leading womenswear brand. Based in Brisbane with a hybrid work model, you will drive brand awareness, community growth and commercial performance across all social platforms.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategy on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
  • Manage the social content calendar, aligning with campaign launches, trading activity and broader marketing initiatives.
  • Lead influencer and creator partnerships, handling sourcing, onboarding, gifting programs and campaign execution.
  • Monitor and analyse social and influencer performance, providing actionable insights to improve engagement, reach and conversion.
  • Create and brief social‑first content (static, video, UGC, trend‑led) in collaboration with internal and external creative teams.
  • Work with paid media teams to identify high‑performing content opportunities and support integrated organic‑paid strategies.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with platform updates, emerging trends and algorithm changes.
  • Manage community engagement, responding to customer interactions and building advocacy.
  • Support PR and brand partnership initiatives with agency partners.

Required profile

  • Proven social media management experience within fashion, retail, lifestyle or consumer brands.
  • Strong understanding of social strategy, content planning, community management and platform best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience managing influencer and creator partnerships, including reporting and performance analysis.
  • Highly creative with a track record of developing engaging content that drives audience growth.
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cross‑functional teams.
  • Comfortable creating video content and appearing on camera when required.
  • Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
