Senior Talent Acquisition Partner – Global Financial Services

About the role

We are looking for a senior talent acquisition partner to own and develop the in‑house recruitment function for a leading global financial services group based in Sydney’s CBD. You will move the team from reactive hiring to a proactive, pipeline‑driven approach across junior, senior and executive levels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for junior, mid‑level and executive positions.
• Design and mature the internal talent acquisition function, including direct sourcing, talent pipelining and reducing agency reliance.
• Partner with HR and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Introduce innovative sourcing methods, improve candidate experience and strengthen employer branding.
• Act as the market expert on banking, insurance and financial services talent, providing benchmarking and strategic hiring advice.

Required profile

• Proven recruitment experience within banking, insurance or financial services.
• Deep understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, from junior roles to senior/executive appointments.
• Strong direct sourcing capability and a proactive, pipeline‑focused mindset.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with HR and senior business leaders.
