Senior Manager Specialised Credit (Agri and Commercial Real Estate)

About the role

The Senior Manager, Specialised Credit (Agribusiness and Commercial Real Estate) leads a dedicated line‑2 credit team within ANZ's Business and Private Bank Risk division. You will provide independent oversight of complex credit exposures, influence strategic decisions and ensure portfolio quality aligns with the bank’s risk appetite.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Agribusiness and Commercial Real Estate specialised credit team, delivering sound credit decisions and strong portfolio outcomes.
• Influence strategic credit and portfolio decisions through trusted partnerships with senior business and risk stakeholders.
• Provide independent risk leadership and oversight across complex credit exposures, balancing commercial outcomes with prudent risk management.
• Build and develop a high‑performing team, strengthening capability, credit expertise and portfolio stewardship.
• Champion a strong risk culture through effective governance, policy adherence, portfolio oversight and transparent risk reporting.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience with strong stakeholder influencing skills.
• Advanced credit assessment, decision‑making and risk management capabilities across specialised credit portfolios.
• Demonstrated ability to manage executive‑level relationships and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience in agribusiness and/or commercial real estate credit is highly desirable.
