This senior accountant position sits within a highly regarded three‑partner firm in Sydney’s CBD, working in the Business Services team that focuses on genuine advisory work. You will serve a diverse client base that includes high‑net‑worth individuals, family groups, established SMEs and growth‑stage businesses, while enjoying direct access to partners and a clear progression path to manager.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and business advisory services to a varied portfolio of clients.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
• Collaborate with partners and managers on complex engagements and strategic initiatives.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to the team’s knowledge sharing.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports as required.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Australian public practice experience in tax and business services.
• CA or CPA qualification completed, or well underway.
• Strong technical foundation with the ability to build real client relationships.
