Security Partner

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Security Partner to join the Group Cyber Security Risk domain in Melbourne. The role will be embedded in an assigned Value Stream, acting as a trusted security advisor to senior technology leaders and ensuring security is embedded in design and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business and technology leaders to provide security guidance and become a trusted advisor.
• Translate complex designs into clear security requirements that meet standards and compliance.
• Develop and maintain reusable security architecture and design patterns for consumption across teams.
• Review vendor contracts and embed relevant security clauses, including CPS234 requirements.

Required profile

• Deep experience in Security Architecture with the ability to design, evaluate and review secure solutions in an Agile environment.
• Proven stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior leaders and educating teams.
• Strong knowledge of threat‑modelling methodologies and common tactics, techniques and procedures.
• Experience securing cloud technologies (AWS, GCP), hybrid‑cloud environments, migrations and strategic cloud pattern development.
