People Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a People Coordinator to join National Dental Care’s People team in our McMahons Point office. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will help keep HR operations running smoothly while supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes across our growing network of dental practices.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end recruitment: post vacancies, screen applications and shortlist candidates.
• Manage the HR inbox, respond to routine HR queries and route requests to the People Administrator.
• Prepare employment documentation and process onboarding, role changes and off‑boarding transactions.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with awards, legislation and company policies.
• Provide first‑level HR advice to managers and staff, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Assist managers with performance‑management processes under senior HR guidance.
• Collaborate with the People Business Partner and People Advisor on HR projects and initiatives.
• Coordinate off‑boarding activities, including exit surveys and reporting to identify retention opportunities.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in HR administration or a similar role.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Interest in continuous improvement and developing an HR career.
