About the role
The Human Resources Coordinator will support the HR function for Volkswagen Group's National Sales Centre in Sydney. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will ensure smooth delivery of HR processes, from onboarding to payroll support, while acting as a primary point of contact for employee queries.
Key responsibilities
- Administer core HR processes including onboarding, leave management, off‑boarding and contract generation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and support payroll updates.
- Assist with compensation and benefits administration, including benefits enrollment and annual salary reviews.
- Support recruitment initiatives and coordinate global and local reporting requirements.
- Provide day‑to‑day HR administration, record keeping and documentation.
Required profile
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, Commerce or a related field.
- 1‑2 years of HR experience, preferably in a commercial environment.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and problem‑solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build stakeholder trust.
- Self‑motivated, proactive and committed to confidentiality.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SAP (preferred).
