Mechanical Engineer - Mineral Processing

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its Energy and Resources business in Perth. You will work on mineral processing plant designs, contributing to projects that support global economic development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed designs for mineral processing plants.
• Perform pump calculations and prepare associated design documentation.
• Support multiple concurrent projects across the full lifecycle, including design, tender support, construction supervision, and commissioning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and apply engineering expertise to solve complex challenges.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mining and mineral processing design.
• Relevant technical qualification (e.g., Mechanical Engineering).
• Demonstrated passion for innovative engineering and continuous learning.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse, collaborative teams.
