Senior Mechanical Engineer – Perth

About the role

Agilitus is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its growing Perth team. You will support and expand our engineering and design capabilities across resources, energy and industrial sectors, delivering compliant and efficient mechanical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and piping design tasks from concept through commissioning with minimal supervision.
• Understand project scope, identify design and budget concerns early, and propose improvements.
• Manage small to mid‑sized projects as required.
• Deliver accurate, well‑presented design deliverables in line with Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and constructive feedback to graduate and junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical).
• Knowledge of applicable mechanical and piping design standards and guidelines.
• Ability to cross‑check work submitted by junior engineers and provide constructive feedback.

Required skills

• Mechanical design.
