Maintenance Technician – Night Shift

About the role

Amazon’s Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team in Moorebank, Sydney is looking for night‑shift Maintenance Technicians. You will keep material handling, automated packaging and distribution equipment running safely and efficiently, supporting a 24/7 fulfilment centre.

Key responsibilities

• Perform proactive and preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults in live‑warehouse environments.
• Implement long‑term solutions to minimise future downtime.
• Use specialised tools and follow health & safety standards.
• Support general building maintenance and respond quickly to breakdowns.

Required profile

• Formal trade qualification – Certificate III in Electrotechnology with a current electrical licence, or Certificate III in Engineering/Mechanical (Fitter/Turner) or equivalent Australian recognised qualification.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems and fault finding on material handling or automation equipment.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of conveyor systems, motor controllers/inverters and relevant safety regulations.
