Maintenance Technician – Automated Distribution Center

About the role

WITRON is launching its first Australian automated distribution centre in Redbank, Queensland. We are seeking energetic Maintenance Technicians to join our shift maintenance team and help keep the highly automated logistics system running at peak performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on mechanical drive technology, including motors and gear units.
• Diagnose faults, conduct troubleshooting, and execute repairs with minimal supervision.
• Assist with the installation of new system components and the refurbishment of existing equipment.
• Support the production team by providing basic fault correction and coaching.
• Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to all safety procedures and using required PPE.

Required profile

• Commitment to workplace safety and a proactive safety mindset.
• Background in mechanical maintenance, mechanic, diesel fitter or similar trade.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical ability to walk, climb, squat, kneel, stand for long periods, work at heights up to 30 m, and lift up to 25 kg unassisted.
• Full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship).
