Appliance Technician – FIFO/DIDO – $124k + Benefits

About the role

Civeo Australia is seeking an experienced Appliance Technician to join its remote site team in Coppabella. The role involves maintaining and repairing commercial appliances in a fast‑paced FIFO/DIDO environment while upholding the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency repair of commercial appliances and related equipment.
• Diagnose faults, conduct thorough testing and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with site safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize workload and support on‑site operations.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Current Electrical Licence (essential).
• Experience in commercial appliance repair and maintenance, preferably in FIFO/DIDO or remote locations.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, remote site environment.
• Team‑player with a proactive, safety‑first mindset.
