Maintenance Electrician

About the role

This hands‑on position offers the chance to work on technically challenging electrical systems within a structured environment. You will develop specialised hazardous‑area capabilities while supporting the maintenance of critical fuel storage and transfer assets for the Australian Defence Force.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, repair and maintain critical assets such as fuel storage and fuel transfer systems.
• Support the achievement of EEHA certification and hazardous‑area competency.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance in accordance with safety standards.
• Adhere to a 38‑hour work week schedule (Mon‑Thu 6:30 am‑3 pm, Fri 6:30 am‑1 pm).

Required profile

• E&I Certification and an A‑grade electrical licence.
• EEHA certification (desirable).
• Proven experience in fixed‑plant maintenance, preferably in fuel services or oil & gas.
• Confined‑space and working‑at‑heights tickets (preferred).
• Australian citizenship and ability to pass a police check.
