Lecturer – Community Services (Sessional Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced community services professional to join Acknowledge Education’s academic team as a sessional full‑time lecturer. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching to Bachelor of Community Services students across our campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and practical sessions for the Bachelor of Community Services program.
• Assess, mark and provide constructive feedback on student assignments and examinations.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress and assessment outcomes.
• Identify students at risk of under‑performance and coordinate appropriate support.
• Respond promptly to student enquiries via email.
• Engage in teaching evaluations and pursue professional development in pedagogical methods.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Psychology, Counselling or a closely related field.
• Minimum of two years’ industry experience in community services, social work, youth work, psychology or related roles.
• Strong understanding of theory and practice within the community services sector.
• Excellent presentation and leadership abilities.
