About the role

PERSOL is partnering with established law firms across New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory to recruit experienced lawyers. Candidates will work independently, delivering high‑quality legal services in a range of practice areas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice and representation in assigned practice areas.
• Manage client matters from inception through resolution, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Conduct thorough legal research and stay updated on changes in law.
• Collaborate with senior partners and support staff as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in the relevant Australian state or territory.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and client‑service orientation.
• Willingness to relocate or commute to the designated state.
