Junior Management Accountant

About the role

Lyra Technology Group is seeking a motivated Junior Management Accountant to join its finance team in Perth. This role offers the chance to develop a finance career in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment while supporting the Finance Controller across a range of accounting and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and process transactions in the accounting system.
• Support accounts payable – invoice processing, vendor verification, and payment preparation.
• Assist accounts receivable – customer invoicing, payment tracking, and overdue follow‑up.
• Perform bank and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Assist with payroll processing and related administration.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Assist with compliance documentation including BAS, payroll tax, income tax support and audit requests.
• Maintain organised, timely and accurate financial documentation.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to provide financial and administrative support.
• Provide general administrative assistance to the Finance Manager.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Analytical, highly organised and proactive with a strong willingness to learn.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Required skills

• Accrual accounting and monthly reporting processes.
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
• Payroll processing and related administration.
• Bank and credit‑card reconciliation.
• BAS preparation, payroll tax and income tax support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
