Business Controller

About the role

The Business Controller will join the Geoscience Product Company within Epiroc’s Surface Division, partnering closely with senior leadership to drive performance, strengthen financial control, and influence strategic decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and Business Line Managers.
• Drive financial performance across P&L and Balance Sheet at both business line and entity level.
• Support decision‑making through high‑quality analysis, insights, and recommendations.
• Ensure financial reporting and accounting practices align with group standards and local regulations.
• Maintain strong internal controls and proactively identify and escalate risks.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
• Provide forward‑looking analysis to support growth and profitability targets.
• Monitor performance and implement action plans where required.
• Oversee cash flow, credit control, and investment analysis.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with legal and financial frameworks.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in finance or business controlling.
• Experience within an industrial or international environment.
• Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and financial planning.
• Proactive mindset with confidence to challenge and raise risks.
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving capability.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
