Investment Director – Private Banking

About the role

Westpac Private Bank is seeking an Investment Director to join its Global Investment Services team in Barangaroo. You will work with self‑directed high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients, providing investment insight across multiple asset classes and currencies within a General Advice framework.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver market insight and translate complex investment themes into client‑focused conversations.
• Partner closely with Private Banking teams to support client portfolio decisions.
• Contribute to regional performance and lead strategic initiatives for the Global Investment Services unit.
• Build strong internal engagement with the investment offering and support its growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial markets, funds management, wealth management or investment sales.
• Track record of working with high‑net‑worth or ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients.
• Strong understanding of multi‑asset and multi‑currency investment strategies.
• Knowledge of compliance and risk management in a regulated environment.
