Global Logistics & Inventory Manager

About the role

Australian Vintage is creating a new senior position to lead its global logistics and inventory function. Based in Balmain (or Mildura), you will shape end‑to‑end logistics across domestic and international markets, ensuring our award‑winning wine brands move efficiently worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and optimise global logistics operations across domestic and international supply networks.
• Oversee inventory governance, stock integrity and warehouse operations at global locations and with external storage partners.
• Manage relationships with freight providers, export partners and third‑party logistics (3PL) operators.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives in transport, warehousing, export, inventory and distribution.
• Monitor logistics and inventory performance against KPIs such as DIFOT, service and financial targets.
• Support supply continuity through proactive risk management and issue escalation.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Planning, Procurement and Production to align forecasts and customer service outcomes.
• Provide leadership and operational support to regional logistics and supply‑chain resources.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics capability, efficiency, service performance and cost.
• Deliver accurate reporting and operational insights on logistics, freight, inventory health and service metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading global logistics and inventory functions.
• Strong track record of managing third‑party logistics providers and freight partners.
• Ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with sales, production and supply‑chain teams.
