Stores Officer – Aviation Logistics

About the role

Alliance Airlines is seeking a Stores Officer to support its Rockhampton Airport base and multiple remote locations. The role focuses on implementing logistics and warehouse best practices to improve safety, efficiency and cost control while delivering high‑quality service to internal customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support all store functions, ensuring alignment with safety, compliance and business requirements.
• Maintain accurate inventory, manage stock levels, process orders and arrange transfers.
• Optimise the stores network, identifying and implementing improvements to systems and procedures.
• Assist with local procurement activities and promptly address part‑sales requests.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers and freight providers.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security and regulatory standards and stay updated on industry trends.

Required profile

• Experience in stores, logistics or warehousing, preferably within the aviation sector.
• Exposure to computer‑based inventory management systems.
• Secondary education and a current driver’s licence.
• Desirable: Cert IV in Warehousing Operations or Logistics, Dangerous Goods Shippers Certificate, Forklift licence.
