Food & Beverage Team Leader

About the role

The Food & Beverage Team Leader will supervise and coordinate the service team at Ibis Adelaide, ensuring that all food and beverage operations meet 5‑star standards. You will lead by example, delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Hands‑on supervision of the F&B team, ensuring tasks and service standards are met.
• Provide exceptional service, including order taking, upselling, and product knowledge.
• Monitor cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring compliance with food safety practices.
• Manage workflow, delegate tasks, and optimise efficiency in your designated section.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Support training and development of team members.
• Communicate with other departments, conduct handovers and shift briefings.
• Assist with rostering, stock control, and reporting as required.

Required profile

• Qualification in Hospitality or a related field (beneficial).
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Food & Beverage Attendant.
• Experience leading small teams is an advantage.
• Exposure to à la carte, bar, banquet, and event service styles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate for South Australia.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.
