Financial Controller – Energy Solutions

About the role

Ampol is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the Accounting and Reporting function within its Energy Solutions Finance team. Based in the Alexandria office, this permanent role offers a hybrid working arrangement and focuses on delivering accurate financial governance, audit, and reporting for a fast‑growing low‑carbon business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance and reporting activities to ensure compliance with ASX and corporate law, in partnership with Group Finance.
• Manage timely delivery of monthly actual and forecast management reports, including P&L, cash flow, balance sheet and working capital.
• Own the Energy Solutions general ledger and its financial recording structure.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and outputs.
• Develop insights and interpretation of financial trends to support performance improvement.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified.
• 8+ years post‑qualification experience in accounting or financial reporting roles.
• Demonstrated experience in financial governance, audit, and statutory reporting.
