Financial Controller – Australia & New Zealand

About the role

This position is at the forefront of Bimeda’s market entry into Australia and New Zealand. The Financial Controller will design and embed a robust finance and control environment, supporting the build‑out of the Group’s presence and the integration of acquired activities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the month‑end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
• Manage statutory and tax compliance for both Australia and New Zealand.
• Produce regular financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
• Maintain working capital discipline and cash‑flow management.
• Develop and enforce internal controls, governance frameworks, and segregation of duties in line with Group policies.
• Partner with the General Manager and functional leaders to drive profitable growth.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, detail‑oriented finance leader with strong technical accounting expertise.
• High integrity and ability to implement practical processes without slowing execution.
• Experience operating in fast‑moving, market‑entry or build‑phase environments.
• Proven track record of delivering clean audits and strong cash outcomes.
