Finance Lecturer – Level A (Full‑time, Adelaide)

About the role

The Australian Institute of Business (AIB) is seeking a full‑time Lecturer – Level A in Finance to join its Adelaide campus. The role involves delivering high‑quality online finance education to postgraduate students, supporting their learning journey and contributing to the continuous improvement of the business programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, update and review learning materials, assessments and solutions to ensure an excellent student experience.
• Deliver online teaching sessions and interact proactively with students via webinars and the learning management system.
• Provide academic support, mark and moderate assessments, and document student interactions.
• Assess exemption and credit‑transfer requests.
• Share expertise internally and externally through conferences and scholarly activities.
• Participate in AIB’s Academic Scholarship Program and coordinate online facilitators.
• Maintain active scholarly status on the portal.

Required profile

• PhD in Finance.
• Proven experience teaching Finance at postgraduate level, preferably in Australian higher education.
• Strong understanding of online and adult learning pedagogies.
• High‑level written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to design, update and deliver academic content.
• Commitment to academic quality, student success and continuous improvement.
