Finance Advisory Consultant

About the role

Join the CFO Advisory team to help leading clients navigate complex accounting, financial and regulatory challenges. You will work in a collaborative environment, delivering practical advice and commercial outcomes while building deep finance and advisory expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards, providing technical support and project management.
• Support the rollout of new financial and regulatory reporting systems, designing governance and control frameworks.
• Deliver complex projects, create client deliverables, prepare reports and presentations, and liaise with senior leadership and external advisors.
• Perform data analysis to ensure data quality and enable robust decision‑making using financial tools.
• Identify emerging challenges and contribute innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Ability to distil and communicate complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Curious, collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset with excellent communication and project‑management skills.
• Solid understanding of the AASB framework and interest in or progress toward a Chartered Accountant qualification.
