About the role

Fortescue’s Corporate Development team is seeking an Executive Assistant / Corporate Support Officer to provide high‑level support to senior leaders in Perth. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in fast‑moving environments and can anticipate needs with precision and discretion.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver executive and administrative support, including personal assistance to senior leaders.
  • Manage complex, evolving calendars, travel arrangements, meetings and logistics.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact, handling competing priorities with professionalism and urgency.
  • Coordinate inbox management, draft correspondence and prepare executive communications.
  • Support accounts payable processes: purchase requisitions, orders, supplier invoices, expense claims and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and coordinate board papers, executive briefs, presentations and internal reports.
  • Assist in drafting board recommendations, legal briefs, commercial summaries and strategic background materials.
  • Conduct research, consolidate information and provide high‑quality insights for leadership decision‑making.

Required profile

  • Significant experience in an Executive Assistant, Corporate Support or similar senior administrative role.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and commercially sensitive information with discretion.
  • Outstanding organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with a polished, professional approach.
  • Flexible mindset, able to work outside standard hours and travel occasionally.
  • A law degree and/or French language skills are highly regarded.

Required skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
