Event Coordinator – Community & Destination Events

About the role

Join the Tourism and Events Moreton Bay team as an Event Coordinator and help bring a diverse calendar of community festivals, destination activations, business events, and sporting experiences to life across the City of Moreton Bay.

Key responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of events and activations.
• Develop event plans, manage supplier relationships and logistics.
• Assist on‑site during event set‑up, execution and pack‑down.
• Ensure events are delivered safely, professionally and with community pride.

Required profile

• Loves events and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Can juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Builds strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers and communities.
• Willing to roll up sleeves for bump‑in, event day and pack‑down.
