Employee Communication Advisor

About the role

Ambulance Victoria is looking for an Employee Communication Advisor to join its Employee Communication team at the Doncaster headquarters. The role supports a range of internal communication initiatives and helps embed the organisation’s vision of outstanding emergency health care.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with internal stakeholders and subject‑matter experts to design, launch, promote and evaluate strategic communication programmes and campaigns.
• Develop and deliver integrated communication content that engages employees, partners and the community, applying best‑practice communication and behaviour‑change principles.
• Collaborate across the Strategy & Engagement Division to bring in relevant expertise and ensure successful campaign delivery.
• Contribute to measurement frameworks, gathering and analysing data to report on outcomes against agreed objectives.

Required profile

• Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or equivalent certification with relevant experience.
• Proven experience developing, implementing and evaluating strategic communication strategies across multiple organisational functions.
• Strong knowledge of best‑practice strategic communication and behaviour‑change techniques.
• Excellent writing ability and capacity to create engaging content for diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently, flexibly and provide sound advice to stakeholders on a variety of projects.
