About the role
We are building a pool of Mainstream Education Assistants to support the teaching team at Carey Park Primary School in Bunbury. Assistants will work under the direction of classroom teachers to foster an engaging, inclusive learning environment for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers to deliver individual and small-group learning programs.
- Support the general health, safety and well-being of students.
- Prepare and maintain classroom resources and learning spaces to meet diverse student needs.
- Integrate information and communication technology (ICT) into daily lessons.
- Work independently with minimal instruction while contributing to a cohesive team.
Required profile
- Strong written and oral communication abilities.
- Initiative and ability to support student well-being.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
Required skills
- Proficiency in using information and communication technology (ICT) for educational purposes.
