About the role
The Director of Assessment will provide strategic oversight and leadership for the CCC’s assessment programme, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and the fight against major crime and corruption in Queensland.
Key responsibilities
- Apply high‑level organisational, strategic and analytical skills to manage a diverse assessment programme.
- Address complex legal, operational, policy and ethical issues and deliver expert advice in a high‑pressure environment.
- Ensure compliance with the Crime and Corruption Act 2001 and related legislation, policies and procedures.
- Lead multi‑disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration, innovation and consistent high‑quality outcomes.
- Build and maintain stakeholder partnerships across internal and external agencies.
- Deliver projects and programmes within agreed timeframes and performance targets.
Required profile
- Demonstrated capability in organisational strategy, analysis and programme oversight.
- Proven experience handling complex legal and policy matters.
- Extensive knowledge of the public sector environment and the Crime and Corruption Act 2001.
- Track record of delivering high‑quality work and projects on schedule.
- Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Understanding of contemporary management practices, including EEO, WHS and anti‑discrimination.
- Initiative, drive and the ability to achieve goals.
