Customer Engagement Partner – Ophthalmology

About the role

The Customer Engagement Partner (CEP) – Ophthalmology will join Bayer's Pharmaceuticals team in New South Wales. You will promote innovative ophthalmology solutions, build trusted relationships with eye care professionals, and translate scientific value into meaningful clinical conversations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and optimise field activities using 90‑day plans aligned to strategic objectives.
• Engage ophthalmologists, optometrists, hospital stakeholders and other healthcare professionals to drive strategic outcomes.
• Gather insights on patient pathways, disease management and treatment landscapes to inform national strategy.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to share knowledge, solve problems and support squad outcomes.
• Leverage data, analytics and digital/omnichannel tools to enhance customer engagement and productivity.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of ophthalmology patient journeys and treatment landscapes.
• Ability to build and sustain trust‑based relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Adaptability to changing market dynamics and emerging clinical data.
• Commitment to the highest ethical, legal and compliance standards.
