Business Development Manager – Drive Growth in Townsville

About the role

Thryv is seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to join its sales team in Townsville. You will work directly with small‑ and medium‑size businesses, introducing them to Thryv’s SaaS platform that streamlines job management, payments, and marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Travel across your assigned territory to meet SMB owners face‑to‑face and convert conversations into contracts.
• Promote Thryv’s SaaS solutions that help tradies and service providers win jobs, manage workflows, and get paid faster.
• Generate leads, build a robust sales pipeline, and achieve monthly revenue targets.
• Address client business challenges using CRM, automation, and digital marketing tools.
• Track key performance indicators weekly and celebrate monthly successes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of face‑to‑face sales experience, preferably with SMBs.
• Demonstrated self‑motivation and ability to build your own pipeline.
• Strong resilience, curiosity, and a drive to exceed targets.
• Passion for technology, CRM, or digital marketing is a plus.
