Business Banking Manager – Sydney

About the role

The Business Banking Manager will manage and grow an existing portfolio of SME customers, delivering tailored banking solutions across multiple channels. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring high‑quality, proactive service that supports customers’ growth ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Handle high‑volume inbound enquiries and conduct outbound outreach based on structured leads.
• Provide premium customer service to a diverse SME portfolio, focusing on retention and growth.
• Understand client business goals and recommend appropriate ANZ products and solutions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, Lighthouse and support teams to deliver rapid solutions.
• Meet performance targets across the balanced scorecard and manage a team‑based customer portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven experience in relationship management within banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of SME banking needs and ability to identify growth opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills across phone, video, email and digital platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a high‑performing team environment.
