Base Clinical Educator

About the role

The Royal Flying Doctor Service SA/NT is seeking an experienced Base Clinical Educator to join its Aeromedical education team in Adelaide. You will collaborate with the Clinical Education Manager and fellow educators to design, coordinate and deliver clinical training for aeromedical nursing and medical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and deliver clinical education programs for the Aeromedical Nursing and Medical team.
• Work collaboratively with the Clinical Education Manager and other Base Clinical Educators.
• Ensure training aligns with Advanced Life Support (ALS) competencies and adult learning principles.
• Provide education both as a sole practitioner and as part of a team.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with documented Flight Nurse experience.
• Proven experience preparing and delivering clinical education programs.
• Understanding of adult learning principles.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Critical Care and/or Emergency (essential).
• Post‑graduate qualification in Clinical Education (highly desirable).
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
