Associate Construction Litigation Lawyer (Sydney)

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Construction Litigation Lawyer to join our Sydney team, working on high‑profile energy and infrastructure projects across Australia and internationally. The role offers substantial client contact and responsibility for complex disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Supreme and Federal Court litigation, international and domestic arbitration, and ADR proceedings.
• Coordinate multi‑jurisdictional matters involving contractors, principals, insurers, and technical experts.
• Handle disputes related to major transport, energy, desalination, and metro rail projects, including injunctions and defect issues.
• Provide strategic advice to corporate, developer, and government clients.

Required profile

• Associate with proven experience in construction or infrastructure disputes.
• Background in PPPs, transport, or energy projects is highly regarded.
• Confidence managing complex litigation or arbitration components.
• Ability to work directly with demanding commercial clients.
