12d Designer – Civil Engineering (Springwood, QLD)

About the role

DRW Consulting is seeking a full‑time 12d Designer to join our on‑site team in Springwood, Queensland. The role involves creating and refining civil engineering designs using 12d Model and AutoCAD, supporting road, stormwater, earthworks and subdivision projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed civil engineering designs using 12d Model software and AutoCAD.
• Produce construction drawings and technical documentation.
• Design road layouts, stormwater drainage systems, earthworks models and subdivision details.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and Australian standards.
• Manage project deliverables, prioritize tasks and maintain design accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in a civil designer role or similar.
• Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in subdivision or land development projects is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 12d Model software.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (CAD tools).
• Knowledge of Australian engineering standards and regulations.
• Ability to interpret and produce detailed engineering drawings.
