Yardperson - Forrestdale Branch

About the role

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) is a manufacturer of construction and mining equipment. Because of growth in its Perth region, the Forrestdale branch is looking for an enthusiastic Yardperson to take ownership of the yard and work in a varied environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the activities of the yard and facilitate the movement of plant machinery and equipment
• Receive all new equipment and attachments into the yard area
• Keep the yard and branch grounds clean and tidy
• Assist with other branch-related duties as required

Required profile

• A current forklift licence
• Demonstrated work experience in a similar position; construction and earthmoving experience is highly regarded
• Safety focus, ensuring the safety of yourself and your peers
• Ability to work as part of a team and self-motivated with a focus on service
