Yard Hand

About the role

Buildsafe, a market leader in height safety systems for residential building and construction, is growing and is looking for a Yard Hand in Wauchope. The role involves operating a forklift, loading trucks and handling stock in a fast-paced, labour-intensive environment. An immediate start is available.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a forklift
• Load trucks with the required equipment and components according to the picking/gear list (heavy lifting involved) and make sure loads are secure
• Maintain equipment
• Handle stock and inventory control
• Clean and carry out general warehouse duties

Required profile

• Forklift licence (essential)
• Construction induction card, White Card (essential)
• Driver's licence (essential)
• Willingness to work Monday to Friday, with an average availability of 4 hours per day
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, labour-intensive environment

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy
• Forklift operation
