About the role
Austal, Australia's global shipbuilder and defence prime contractor, is hiring a Yard Hand based in Henderson. The role keeps the yard safe, clean and productive through general maintenance and painting work.
Key responsibilities
- Complete facility maintenance activities and yard work.
- Carry out painting activities such as line marking and walkways.
- Work collaboratively with your team and take ownership of your work.
- Complete all work in compliance with the expected health and safety standards.
Required profile
- Experience in a similar labouring, trade assistant or yard hand role.
- Construction white card.
Required skills
- Knowledge and experience of the safe use of hand and power tools.
- Forklift licence (desirable).
