About the role
Join Rotork’s service team as a Workshop/Field Technician, providing electrical service support for actuators across water, power, petrochemical and related industries. You will work both in the workshop and on‑site, diagnosing faults, performing repairs and delivering preventative maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Identify faults, repair, test and modify actuators in the workshop.
- Carry out planned and preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical installations, and retrofit adaptations of components, pedestals and drive shafts.
- Produce accurate technical reports for each job and support customer inductions as required.
Required profile
- Qualified QLD Electrician License holder.
- Experience in a practical engineering environment.
- Full valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
Required skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of valves, actuators and digital control systems.
- Understanding of basic electronics, electrical and fluid power theories.
- Ability to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and use test/calibration tools.
