Workshop Facilitator

About the role

The Workshop Facilitator will support HammondCare’s Dementia Centre by designing, delivering and evaluating educational programmes for staff, caregivers and other stakeholders. This fixed‑term role focuses on building capability and capacity to provide relationship‑based dementia care.

Key responsibilities

• Develop training programmes and workshop content tailored to dementia care.
• Deliver face‑to‑face and online training sessions.
• Build capacity of staff through coaching and mentorship.
• Collect feedback, evaluate outcomes and report on programme effectiveness.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with care standards.
• Maintain documentation and support continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Commitment to HammondCare’s mission and values.
• Minimum two years experience delivering training programmes in person and online.
• Experience in health‑care or residential‑care education preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current Australian driver’s licence with a safe record and willingness to travel.

Required skills

• Proficiency with training technologies.
• Competence using software for programme development and delivery.
