Workplace Engineer – Onsite IT Support

About the role

We are looking for a Workplace Engineer to deliver on‑site technical support for our customers in Brisbane. You will be the first point of contact for hardware, software and network issues, ensuring a smooth and productive end‑user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site desktop support, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and peripheral problems.
• Install, configure and maintain desktop and laptop systems, operating systems and standard business applications.
• Set up and support printers, mobile devices, conferencing equipment and other peripherals.
• Manage tickets in a service management system, update status, prioritise and resolve incidents within SLA targets.
• Document issues, resolutions and procedures in knowledge‑base articles.

Required profile

• Proven experience in desktop or IT support within a corporate or customer‑facing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and standard business applications.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and user account management.
• Familiarity with ticketing/service‑management tools and working to SLA commitments.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Relevant IT certifications such as ITIL Foundation or equivalent practical experience.
