Workforce Planner

About the role

MSS Security, one of Australia's leading security companies, is hiring a Workforce Planner in South Australia. Reporting to the Service Delivery Team Leader, the role ensures operational compliance, including monitoring employee licences, training and certificates, client site requirements and compliance with relevant industrial instruments. It also contributes to providing excellent customer service to customers, clients and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain client site briefs so all requirements stay up to date.
• Create new clients in internal systems, roster schedules and post requirements, and prepare client quotes.
• Ensure future vacant shifts are covered by appropriately trained, licensed and qualified employees.
• Schedule employee training shifts and follow up on completion.
• Roster effective coverage for sickness, annual leave, LSL and vacancies.
• Identify opportunities to reduce overtime and non-costed expenses.
• Handle call centre-style duties, overseeing employee rostering to ensure effective coverage, adherence to fatigue guidelines and compliance with client-specific requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in understanding and interpreting industrial instruments.
• Extensive experience in high-volume employee rostering.
• High computer literacy, including MS Office and exposure to rostering software or systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and conflict management skills.
• Call centre experience is desirable but not essential.
