About the role
Roper Gulf Regional Council is recruiting a Work Health and Safety (WHS) Officer for its team in Katherine, Northern Territory. This is a permanent, full-time position. The officer ensures the Council operates safely and complies with all relevant WHS legislation, regulations and codes of practice.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the Council operates safely and complies with all relevant WHS legislation, regulations and codes of practice.
- Assist the WHS Coordinator in developing, implementing and monitoring effective WHS systems, policies, training and practices that meet Council's WHS obligations and compliance needs.
