WordPress and React Developer

About the role

We are looking for a WordPress and React Developer to join a globally distributed engineering team. The role focuses on building high‑traffic WordPress themes and plugins while creating modern, interactive front‑end experiences with React. You will work remotely, collaborating with colleagues worldwide in an open‑source‑influenced culture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable WordPress themes and plugins.
• Build and enhance interactive front‑end features using React and modern JavaScript.
• Collaborate with a distributed team via Git‑based workflows and agile communication tools.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and propose elegant solutions to technical challenges.
• Ensure code quality following PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress standards.
• Participate in improving product usability and overall user experience.

Required profile

• Experienced full‑stack‑oriented WordPress developer with strong front‑end expertise.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, agile environment.
• Problem‑solving mindset with attention to clean, maintainable code.

Required skills

• WordPress core architecture, theme and plugin development.
• React, JavaScript (ES6), HTML, CSS/SASS.
• PHP, MySQL.
• jQuery, Git version control.
• Familiarity with Redux, Gutenberg block development, TypeScript, Jest, PHPUnit, WPUnit (bonus).
