WHS Manager

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the WHS Manager will own health and safety performance across multiple bakery sites in VIC, NSW and QLD. This field‑based position involves regular interstate travel and hands‑on interaction with site teams to embed a proactive safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site audits, inspections and risk assessments across all locations.
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Advise operational leaders on WHS compliance, legislation and risk management.
• Deliver training, inductions and toolbox talks to staff.
• Maintain safety systems, reporting registers and continuous‑improvement logs.

Required profile

• Experience as a WHS Advisor or Officer in FMCG or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and audit processes.
• Proven ability to work across multiple sites or in a field‑based role.
• Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS and a current driver’s licence.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
